Merry Christmas

This Sunday , I visited, TEDxKyiv event, which actually inspired me to spend couple minutes to write here.

On www.ted.com I've seen a lot of great talks and inspiring ideas, but being on the event gives you even more connection towards those cool successful stories and people itself. Watching one of TED talks on-line I found strange topic, - why we do what we do? The video in fact was really cool, - about people's motivation to do things.

On the event I've heard stories of 7 people -who is changing this world to a better place, all of them do it in a very very different way, one were speaking about climate change being the best PR manager of Ukraine, other writing stories for small children.

Being so different they all have something in common, - the desire to torn a little piece of the world to a better place. after this event, I think that the motivation I have being now leader of global youth organization- to torn a little piece of this world to a better place to live. I feel really inspired,motivated - to see how people changing after couple months, years in organization, being mentor and coach and looking how fast they develop competencies, - that gives me a confidence, - more and more people will start positive changes, creating - generation of change.

Other question I've asked myself, and so easily found the answer, that were even surprised of my drivers. Why am I working in AIESEC? Why I want to deal with international organization, when there are so many other cool opportunities to change my country, city etc?

And the answer is quite simple, - that's the way I choose to help my country. I want AIESEC in Ukraine to be #1 in the world, simply to make sure at least those 38000 members who are now in AIESEC all over the world will hear something good and positive about my country. I want at least community of this organization wanting to visit Ukraine , to make business with Ukrainians and go a bit deeper into Ukrainian reality than articles in popular web sides about Ukraine-Russia relationship or Chernobyl.

And what motivates you to do things, you are doing?
